It appears that the first building dates back to the XII century and was a monastery which was later turned into an aristocratic Florentine residence. The house has been divided into two large units, each of which has independent entrances and outdoor areas. The portion of the house we are offering has in turn been divided into two apartments on the first and second floor that are rented together, and an annex. |

Outside also conforms to classic type: a beckoning pool set amongst olives trees, with a furnished shady gazebo for that all-important , fronting the villa a large raised furnished terrace with typical columned stone balustrade – a long lazy lunch or genteel pre-dinner drinks here complete our picture of Tuscan idyll.

| The apartment is part of a modern villa set in the hills above Sorrento, in a tranquil and panoramic spot, and from here you can enjoy in a beautiful view of the bay of Naples. It has a private entrance, and from there you enter the panoramic terrace which also looks onto the swimming-pool which shared the owners who live in the other wing of the villa. The furnishings consist of antique furniture alternating tastefully with modern, comfortable pieces, and the villa is equipped with air-conditioning, heating, washing-machine, TV and car-parking space. Outside is well-organized with garden furniture and with a table for dining outside. The center of Sorrento is about 5 km away, and there you can go to the bathing establishments and hire deck-chairs and sun-shade. From the hills of Fontanelle you soon come to the road that runs along the whole of the Amalfi Coast, with Positano about 8 km away. | L´Annunziata lies in the village of the same name, a little ancient hamlet on the summit of a small hill in a wonderful position with a splendid view of the island of Capri and of all the Gulf of Naples. The house is in a quiet position and enjoys the same panorama as the best the village can offer. Villa la Rocca is so-called for its panoramic position, lying on the side of the Annunziata promontory that looks towards the gulf of Naples, and from its large terraces you can enjoy a magnificent panorama and some wonderful sunsets. |
