The policy of ‘touch the earth lightly’ is taken literally here. Over one kilometre of boardwalks minimises any impact on the ecology of the forest, in fact, wildlife is often seen using the boardwalks to move easily around their habitat. No trees were removed to make way for the tree-suites; the design was constantly adapted around them creating a feeling of one-ness with nature. Each suite has its own character, sense of place and privacy.

Arrive at the Gatehouse, met by Bush pig sculpture, Frank and Furter! Guests are then transferred in a Bush vehicle and your adventure has begun. stunning end-glass gable, sensuous bathroom with glass roof over double-ended bath, twin basins, separate shower room with bidet & loo, and relaxing deck. Natural fabrics in subtle creams, earth tones & black, echo the Xhosa style. All enjoy views over the Knysna Lagoon or forest.
